Restorative Classes

There are numerous styles of yoga, and if you're looking to try out Yin yoga then this sequence should give you a chance to explore the style. Yin yoga allows us to move at a slower pace and hold the postures for a longer period of time so that we can focus on the breath. Typically, postures are held for 3 to minutes, although there is no right or wrong time limit. This is a beginner level class and two blocks would be helpful. Poses include Sukhasana (Easy Seat Pose), Virasana (Hero Pose), Baddha Konasana (Bound Angle Pose), Savasana (Corpse Pose), Supine Twists, and more. As always practice safely. Enjoy!
