Many think yoga is simply a way to relax, meditate and clear the mind. Of course, yoga is great for all of those things, but it's also a wonderful way to get a good workout. Many yoga postures work to tone the body and build amazing strength! This class with Ariadne will help to tone and strengthen the upper body, including the arms, wrists, hands, shoulders, and core. The sequence is about 33 minutes in length and would be considered a Level 1/2 or Intermediate class. You may break a sweat. Poses include Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward-Facing Dog), Urdhva Mukha Svanasana (Upward Facing Dog), Kumbhakasana (Plank Pose), Vasisthasana (Side Plank Pose), Makarasana (Dolphin Pose), Forearm Plank and more.
