Hatha Yoga is a fairly broad term that can used to describe numerous types of yoga classes. However, in most cases Hatha will denote a slow paced and gentle style of yoga that allows for focus on alignment and breath. Hatha is generally a good way to prepare for a meditation, or release the mind. In this class, Kim will offer a variety of basic postures and provide ample time between the poses. Poses include Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward-Facing Dog), Uttanasana (Standing Forward Bend), Kumbhakasana (Plank Pose), Utthita Trikonasana (Triangle Pose), Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose), and more. As always practice safely. Enjoy!
