In this class, Priscilla will guide you through a 30 minute class that will help you prepare and practice splits. Naturally, splits aren't for everyone and can certainly challenge your flexibility. For this reason, Priscilla will offer a variety of options as you work toward full splits. As with many poses, make sure not to force yourself into any posture. Take the time to find your current limit and slowly work toward a deeper posture. Splits offer many benefits including stretching the thighs, opening the hips flexors and building patience. Poses include Adho Mukha Svanasana(Downward-Facing Dog), Urdhva Mukha Svanasana (Upward Facing Dog), Urdhva Prasarita Eka Padasana (Standing Split), Hanumasana (Full Split), and more.
