It's certainly safe to say that having a strong core is key to your practice of yoga and also important to your overall health and stability. Most yogis discover that once good core strength is developed, everything in their practice becomes a bit easier. It's important to really understand how to engage your core! In this class, Anna will guide you through a short practice geared to work the core and build a little sweat! As always, practice safely, don't force it and enjoy building your core strength. Poses include Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward-Facing Dog), Navasana (Boat Pose), Garudasana (Eagle Pose Crunches), Navasana Twists, Forearm Plank, and a variety of core/ab exercises and more. Enjoy.
